October Blog Giveaway Prizes - Two Chances To Win!

I'm crawling out from under my faux bone rock to post a prize for the October blog giveaway.   No, the dang tutorial is still not finished.  I had a brilliant idea and changed it almost at the last moment, and I am still working through getting photos for the new material.  It's turning out to be the tut that ate the world!

All this experimentation for the new tut has led to me having a studio full of faux bone and faux ivory creations, and I thought I would use a few as my blog prizes this month.  I decided to have two winners this month, too.  How cool is that?

You know what to do.  Please leave a comment between now and the end of the month.  I would like to know what your favorite thing is about Autumn.  If you have a favorite soup, casserole or stew recipe you'd like to share, please do.  I am looking forward to the fabulous food and fellowship I know I will enjoy at our annual family reunion of my maternal grandparents descendants on October 15.

You may comment as many times as you like, but only one comment will be entered in the drawing.  No purchase is every necessary to win.  If you won last month, you aren't elegible to win again this month... gotta spread the love around!

I will pull two winners on October 1.  If you do not have email enabled on your blog, PLEASE leave an address in your comment where I may reach you if you are one of the winners.

Thanks, friends!   Now, back to that tutorial...

Prize #2 - Faux Ivory Flower Beads

Well, count me in! What's my favorite thing about October? My birthday on the 29th! Nothing in the world like feeling special for that entire day! Feeling loved, happy and joyful. Being blessed with friends and family and enjoying my life creating. Second favorite thing is Halloween. And a recipe I am getting ready to make is Pumpkin Truffles made with Oreo cookies. Yummmmm. Oh, and thank you for the giveaway! Most generous of you!

Count me in too! First of all, I like the cooler temperatures. I love the leaves changing colors when I get a chance to see them...doesn't happen much out here in Phoenix. Love pumpkin pies and pumpkin cookies which I love to bake! Excited about the giveaway, would love to win one of your lovelies! Thank you!

The colors of fall leaf are the most beautiful and my favorite thing about the season. I do live in the Evergreen state so we don't get the glorious colors that New England gets, but none the less...the chinese maple in the yard next door will be a blaze in a few weeks.

Faux bone/ivory is one of my favorite techniques. I'm inspired today by your blog and am going to pull out some of my old faux ivory/bone pieces and make more! I would love to see yours. My favorite autumn time is when that little bit if nip is in the air and you can just feel it and know that winter is on it's way. The colors of the leaves are always inspiration. Since you've brought up soups/stews/casseroles, I have no choice now but to make White Chile - chicken, cannellini beans, white corn, green chiles, cumin, yummmmmm.

My favorite thing about autumn is the changing of the leaves - all those wonderful colors! I didn't appreciate growing up but now that I'm down in south Texas I sure do miss it! Football just isn't the same in shorts!
Thanks!

Somehow Autumn has always seemed like a restful season to me.
The time Mother nature tucks her children into bed for a nap.
I don't really have a favorite recipe.
But ,my favorite fall food is a nice Crisp apple from the local orchard!
LOVE your fabulous faux bone!
And those flowers...
WOW, WOW ,WOW!!!!!

I love the samples of your faux ivory/bone beads especially the flowers. I love the changing colours of the leaves in autumn and hallowe'en. I hope you have a great time at your family reunion. Trying to patiently wait for the tutorial. I hope you are making a tutorial for the terra cotta too!

Wow great prizes!

I love all the beautiful colours autumn brings!

Its also my anniversary in October and I love to celebrate with my husband.

Comfort foods are also October favorites here....like casseroles and soups and chili. And if I am feeling really ambitious...homemade mac and cheese!

I love the colours of mountains: red, orange, yellow and, sometimes, a little of green.
The weather is perfect: neither too hot nor too cold.

Thanks for the prizes! :D

Oh, count me in please!! I would love to win either of these beauties.
My favorite thing about autumn, which doesn't really come to TX, is the wonderful color palette. I love the bronze, brown, and rust tones. I also make a yummy casserole with wild rice, sausage, and water chestnuts.

My favorite thing about autumn is that the horrible summer heat starts to fade and we have brisk, chilly days that are perfect for college football. We spent a lot of time in a Cockaboose having a great time at the USC games...also watching the Clemson Tigers play when my daughter was there. Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway, Lynda.

what an interesting site! And interesting work of course. My favorite thing about fall is...the colors! Wild colors that change almost as you watch, nice warm colors...that prepare you for winter with limited color (at least for me, I am in Canada on the open prairies). Your site is like that...nice and warm...

My favorite thing about autumn is that it finally starts to cool off enough to be outside and do things without melting(it's still in the 90's here in far west TX)It's also a hint that winter is coming and I get to wear a coat once in a while,I love winter clothing!!! But then again I don't like freezing cold weather....just cool enough.....hahaha
Love the buttons and flowers, thanks for being so generous!!
