Jungle Love Is Driving Me Mad Treasury for Friday Favorites 02/20/09

I snagged a TREASURY for my Friday Favorites this week, which features Tigers in one form or another.

"T" is for Tiger, my favorite animal since I was in third grade. My uncle gave me a coffee table photographic encyclopedia of animals, birds and fish for my birthday that year, and two whole pages were covered with one huge, glossy photo of a gorgeous Bengal Tiger. I still have that book! I thought I would feature the King of the jungle in this week's Friday Favorites.

I was surprised to find there isn't more Tiger art on Etsy. I have been bookmarking favorites, some of which were featured in a previous treasury that also included one of my animal print necklace designs. I found a few to add to my wish list, though, and I think they are all stunning!

thanks for adding my tiger ride print, Lynda! Tigers are my favorite animal also. growing up i always loved the tale "little black sambo" and was fascinated by the fact that a bunch of tigers could run around a tree so fast that they would melt into butter...

I love Tigers too - so does my son - he even has a Tiger Dressing Gown and Slippers! You have featured some stunning designs in this collection - I really enjoyed looking at it.
